ASCERT attended the annual Good Samaritans Service at Belfast Cathedral on Sunday 4th March and were delighted to receive a donation of £550 from the cathedral’s annual Black Santa Sit-out Appeal.
Yellowcom, have signed up to participate in this year’s Belfast Marathon in support of ASCERT and Simon Community NI. Taking on this impressive challenge, the Belfast based telecommunications company will enter 2 relay teams who will pound the pavements on Monday 7th May to raise vital funds for these 2 local charities. Damien McDonagh, who has been volunteering for ASCERT for an amazing 17 years is a true ASCERT Charity Champion. This June, Damien is preparing to reach new heights as he participates in a charity skydive to raise vital funds for ASCERT and AFI (Ataxia Foundation Ireland).
