Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. Investors in People enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.

Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate ASCERT, Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success. ASCERT should be extremely proud of their achievement.”

Commenting on achieving the award, Gary McMichael, Chief Executive of ASCERT said: “ASCERT’s goal is to provide much needed support to those in our community impacted by substance use and other related social issues. We can’t do that well without highly skilled and motivated people in our organisation. We are delighted to have achieved this validation of the tremendous effort that ASCERT puts into recruiting, training and developing our staff team to perform their roles to the highest possible standards.

“Our staff are integral to ASCERT’s success, and participating in external accreditation programmes such as Investors in People provides an excellent opportunity to reflect on and refine our own internal processes to make them the very best they can be.

“Having previous held the bronze-level award, we are delighted that not only have we retained our accreditation, we have now advanced to holding the silver-level award. This is evidence of all the hard work that takes place throughout ASCERT, and I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank the ASCERT team for their efforts.”
