Eligibility Criteria: This is skills based Level 2 Training for anyone meeting the following criteria: This training is free of charge to anyone who works directly with children, young people, adults or families where ACEs are an issue. You must work for a Community & Voluntary Organisation to apply. If you are in another sector, contact The Safeguarding Board for Northern Ireland for details of upcoming awareness and training sessions. If you work for a Surestart, Barnardos, Action for Children or NSPCC any upcoming training will be delivered in house, so please consult with your organisation if you want information on when this is happening, as we are unable to offer a place on this training. A maximum of 2 places per organisation applies due to fewer training places available, so please consult with your colleagues to agree on who applies.

Enhanced skills and confidence to use a Trauma Sensitive Lens in order to support and develop resilience for those with whom you work

Appreciation of the impact of secondary trauma; exploring ways to support the health & wellbeing of all staff including volunteers

Relevance: Relevant to anyone working with children, families and/or adults who may be experiencing trauma as a result of childhood adversities.
