The Sky’s The Limit For Damien

The Sky’s The Limit For Damien as he takes on a 10,000ft challenge to raise funds for ASCERT.

The Sky’s The Limit For Damien!

Local Lisburn man, Damien McDonagh, is preparing to skydive on Friday 30th June to raise vital funds for ASCERT and AFI (Ataxia Foundation Ireland).

Speaking ahead of his 10,000ft challenge Damien said;

 “I am really excited to take part in this sky dive on the 30th June and to raise funds for two brilliant charities. I have Ataxia and have been volunteering for ASCERT for over 16 years so these are two charities really close to my heart”.

Every penny raised for ASCERT through Damien’s Skydive will be put to good use, supporting people and communities affected by drug and alcohol misuse throughout Northern Ireland.

Jenay Doyle, Fundraising Coordinator for ASCERT praised Damien for his support;

“We are delighted that Damien has chosen to fundraise for our charity. Volunteering for our charity since 2002; Damien is very much a part of the ASCERT family and we would all like to wish him the best of luck as he takes on this amazing challenge”.

Continuing, she added;

“ASCERT relies on voluntary funding and donations to provide our vital local services which is why we are so appreciative of all the support we received. By fundraising for ASCERT Damien will be helping us to make a real difference in relation to how drugs and alcohol impact on people, families and the wider community and we can’t thank him enough for his support”.
